Pamela Stefanek, Executive Director for New Brunswick City Market, encourages everyone to experience Restaurant Week
Pamela Stefanek has been working as Executive Director for New Brunswick City Market for close to 12 years and has been involved with the Chamber of Commerce for close to a decade.
In fact, she is so close to the Chamber that they even share office space on Church Street in New Brunswick.
“New Brunswick is the true hub of Central Jersey,” Stefanek said. “This is the perfect city with the whole package of dining, culture, education and health care. Our goal at City Market is to have people come and experience all that we have to offer.”
City Market is a non-profit organization that oversees the downtown Special Improvement District in the Hub City. Stefanek offers specialized services for business owners, facade and awning improvement grants, cleaning services, marketing, promotions and special events to attract visitors to all that is great in downtown New Brunswick’s City Center.
It is a busy job, as the executive director oversees the website New Brunswick.com, Farmers Market, Oktoberfest, Shop Local Program, among many other annual events and programs.
One exciting promotion that the City Market puts on every year is Restaurant Week, which is approaching now. Restaurant Week will run from July 14-28. You don’t want to miss it.
Restaurant Week offers many benefits for restaurant owners and customers. Foodies are encouraged to either try a new spot or enjoy one of their favorite haunts. This is Restaurant Week’s ninth successful year and helps to bring more visitors to downtown New Brunswick.
“This is the perfect time to visit New Brunswick and have a wonderful dining experience at a restaurant you have yet to discover,” Stefanek said. “This is one of our best times of the year in New Brunswick and we hope you can join us for a memorable evening (or two.)”
