The LNP Continues To Be The Networking Party in New Jersey

It was a night to remember as hundreds of business owners and professionals came from miles around to not only network, sample new foods, learn about new opportunities, but to also have a good time.

The Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick was packed with event attendees and vendors on Monday, September 24 for three full bustling hours at the annual Largest Networking Party (LNP).

Lina Llona, President & CEO of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the event, was amazed by the outcome this year.

"We sold 89 tables this year and there were about 500 people here, including vendors and prospects," Llona said. "The MCRCC looks forward to this event each year. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but our team makes it work and does such a great job. It's great to see it all come together, connecting so many people.

"We want to thank our sponsors, exhibitors and businesses for helping us celebrate our 26th year of sponsoring this event," she said. "I know it was memorable for our attendees. Next year will be even bigger!"

Get To Know Roni Salkin, Our October Member Spotlight
Roni Salkin is the Executive Director at Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County (JFS Middlesex) located in Milltown and Monroe Township.

She leads a dynamic team in providing unparalleled human services to all members of the community regardless of race, ethnic origin or religion. This includes mental health counseling and groups, senior services, career counseling, immigration and citizenship programs, food pantries, Holocaust survivor services and many other programs such as Senior Medicare Patrol and the Women's Center.

"We've been with the chamber now for ten years," Roni said. "I have consistently learned about new and established agencies and businesses in the area that support JFS Middlesex and our community. This knowledge enables the team at JFS Middlesex to better serve all those who seek our support.

"Being a part of the chamber also allows JFS Middlesex to reach a larger audience, as well as give us a greater voice," Roni added. "The leadership at the MCRCC ensures member organizations are included in activities and publicity in the county and surrounding areas.

"There are opportunities for member nonprofits and businesses to participate on chamber committees to expand their reach and be active contributors to the County's success," she said. "This, of course, has helped us over the years, trying to address our short-term and long-term goals.

The mission of JFS Middlesex is to help all individuals and families in need realize an improved life experience at home, in the workplace and in the community.

"Looking into next year, one of my primary goals for 2019 is to find new community partners to help us serve as many area residents as possible through current and expanded programs and services at JFS Middlesex," she said. "Also, within the upcoming year, JFS Middlesex will be celebrating its 40th anniversary serving our community. Mark your calendars for our One Community Gala on June 2, 2019."
